A sweet and sad Chinese tale;un conte chinois doux et triste

 
     
              On dit qu'il est difficile de trouver une pie le jour de Valentine chinois en Chine, parce que toutes les pies volent pour faire le pont pour c'est deux amoureux. Un couple éternellement séparé par la rage des dieux.
           L’histoire est superbement illustrée avec un style calligraphique par l’illustrateur chinois Ma De.
   
               They say that it's hard to find a magpie on Chinese Valentine's Day in China, because all magpies fly to make the bridge for the Weaving Maid and Cowherd.A couple eternally seperated bt the anger of the Gods.
              The story is superbly illustrated in calligraphic style and soft tones by Chinese illustrator Ma De.
 
 

Books of my childhood,Livres de mon enfance

 

 

I am born in India,in the city of Kolkata.When I was young along with Indian and British books ,we had  access to a lot of Russian and Chinese books.Most were colourful and beautifully illustrated.These were also cheaper compared to the other imported books."ALYONUSHKA",a book on Russian folk tales ,illustrated by Igor Yershov is one of my favourites. I would like to share some of these  beautiful images with you.

Je suis né en Inde, dans la ville de Kolkata. Dans ma jeunesse nous avons eu  accès à beaucoup de livres russes et chinois avec les livres indiens et britanniques ,. La plupart étaient colorées et admirablement illustrées. C'étaient également bon marché comparés aux autres livres importés. "ALYONUSHKA",un livre sur les contes folkloriques russes, illustré par Igor Yershov est un de mes favoris. Je voudrais partager certaines de ces belles images avec vous.
